E\u00e9n van de meest spectaculaire ervaringen die je kunt doen, is ziplinen door de dichte jungle in het noorden van het land, vlak bij Chiang Mai. Hier beleef je de natuur op een manier die je niet snel vergeet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hoog boven de jungle zweven, van boom naar boom, terwijl je het geluid van vogels en ritselende bladeren om je heen hoort \u2013 dat is ziplinen in Thailand. Met bekende parken zoals Flight of the Gibbon krijg je toegang tot tientallen platforms en lange kabels die je diep door het regenwoud leiden. De jungle rond Chiang Mai is rijk aan biodiversiteit. Als je geluk hebt, spot je zelfs gibbons (apen waar het park naar vernoemd is) of andere exotische dieren terwijl je door de bomen zoeft. Het voelt alsof je even deel uitmaakt van de natuur, in plaats van er alleen maar naar te kijken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Veiligheid staat gelukkig centraal bij deze activiteiten. Professionele gidsen begeleiden je stap voor stap, en alle apparatuur wordt grondig gecontroleerd. Ook als je nog nooit hebt gezipline\u2019d, kun je dit dus met een gerust hart proberen. Het enige wat je nodig hebt, is een beetje lef en zin in avontuur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Naast de adrenaline is er ook een duurzaam aspect. Veel van deze parken zetten zich in voor het behoud van het regenwoud en ondersteunen lokale gemeenschappen.
